Whoa Is Me?

The pain of regret is what Peter experienced when he denied Jesus three times explicitly and with an oath. The only time that Paul says, whoa is me is when he says, "Whoa is me if I do not preach the gospel" That's the pain of discipline or the pain of regret. They were in pain because they dedicated their lives to preached the word of God but the pain of regrets is so much worse.
