Spielberg made an empire of the sun. James Brooks was one of the producers. He got a Penny Marshall to direct Peggy Sue. Deborah Winger was in that movie and he switched her for Kathleen Turner. The other way it's impossible is Polanskiville. That movie never quite landed the plane for me. Dennis Quaid told Larry King once that he turned down the park and did everybody's all American instead.
