"It's difficult to make these sorts of ethical pronouncements on the animal kingdom," he says. "If kin bond together to kill the kin of another group that they deem as a rival, we would say if that happened in a human community context, we would deem that as a moral behavior." Some Christians might argue that even assigning moral value to cooperation and evolution at all is altogether a categorical error; it gets back to what kind of order did God make to begin with?
