The Importance of Being Humble

When you see our humble king lowering himself for us, exposing our sin and then dying on a cross for our sin, you know what it does? It makes you bold and humble at the same time. You're humble because you cannot save yourself and your sin deserves eternal death. And you're absolutely bold because Jesus paid it all and you can come into his presence at any time and make your request known before God. That's the Jesus we worship. Let's welcome him today. We have an opportunity now to welcome him and to allow him to do his work in us."
