Is There a Crossover Between Running and Cycling?

Running caused very little change er within the muscle itself. There was very little imparment or perturbation going on within the quadrusets d whereas that wasn't the case after cycling. The fact that in response to three hours of running, there was very little perturbition within the quadrucet probably means the adaptive stimulus is also quite low. So if, for example, and i'm sure this would never be the case, you are triathlete and you're not doing much cycling, and you're doing a lot of running, then you might not be getting those peripheral adaptations which are clearly important in response to cycling.
