What Do You Think About Segmentation?

Cortex: We did not intend to talk about email this much. So I think we should maybe round off today show some Ask Cortex questions just to give it a little bit of variety. Walter on the Reddit asked and they were commenting on our iPhone home screens. You use several applications that are superficially similar, but serve distinct purposes for you. Do you feel that this segmentation helps or hurts? Would you prefer each category was served by exactly one app or just having activities rigidly segmented to keep you focused?
