The number of people who left big cities like new york or san francisco and headed to smaller, quieter spots absolutely skyrocket compared to the year before. National data shows that the younger you were, the more likely you were to move. People of color were more likely to relocate than white folk. And then there's me, a youngish person of colour living in this county where a tun of people are leaving and seeing that data brought out some kind of solidarity with those that were staying.
