Is the Fed Raising Interest Rates?
The traditional view would be that by raising interest rates, the fet is compressing demand for interest rate sensitive stuff. But in practice, like looking at what businesses actually do, i don't really think t that's the case. It also just seems to me like there's a disconnect between the white house wants to lower inflation and is concerned about inflation. I mean, if we had woken up this morning and there was a rail strike it would probably be completely different.
