Top Chinese diplomat Wang Yi said the improvement of relations between Saudi Arabia and Iran has paved the way for realizing peace and stability in the Middle East. He's clearly referencing the history of US and European meddling in this region, says Peter Bergen. "This is China saying that this region is sovereign and we need no more external interference," he adds.
