Why You Shouldn't Use a Brain Scanner

Brain scanning could be used to decode what people are thinking when they're asleep. In a study, researchers looked at brain patterns evoked by different computer science concepts and compared them to those of their teaching assistants. The results showed that students who knew more about the concepts did better on tests after sleeping for an interval between studying and testing.
