Hegel has a reputation for being unapproachable and impenetrable. And what we, you know, always try to do is like to file it down to like the one thing that's like a key that can get you to the other things. So this section of his work gives us an opportunity to look at how he thinks about pleasure and subjectivity as the split thing that depends on an other. He also talks about desire and lack and negativity and the relation of self to object coming from a previous section which is very hard to read in its own right.
