I'm a Concierge and I've Done a Good Thing
I think I try to bank the nice bit and then go, you know, my job is to write books. And when I feel good about what I've done, it's when I feel like I've been a concierge connecting a group of people who need to know something with people who discover something interesting about it. So like Bruce Alexander, who did the Rat Park experiment, I'm genuinely proud that lots more people heard about Bruce's amazing work because I talked and wrote about it. That's when it feels good.
