There are things in the world that we immediately intuit and perceive about ourselves, about others that are difficult or impossible to measure. Machine learning is revivifying these because you can use as much as you wanted to define feature sets that exist in a kind of latent space. But it's this weird thing where like, why can we pretend that latent space, a feature set existing in latent space is real? It's ludicrous. So hopefully we'll begin to trend back towards reality through this kind of high, very holistic approach to the structure of the world that, that machine learning uses.
