God's Choices Are Not a Choice, but Choices

In the bible story, human beings have been created with agency. And spiritual beings have been given same autonomy. Why couldn't god get what he wants by exercising unilateral control over the creation? Well, sure he could, but then there would be no authentic relationship, no collaboration and no love. Free will is the only thing that makes possible any love or goodness or joy worth having. A world of autometa, of creatures that work like machines, would hardly be worth creating.
