"I didn't fail because life was unfair. I failed because I was a cocky asshole who made poor decisions," he says. "Those two pregnant women gave me Sabrina and Julia, my first two reasons to be a better man." He adds that the guy in Iraq who got beaten up for not being a team player couldn't have succeeded on his own.
