The De-Dollarization of the Dollar
In 1971, I would have expected that it would be gone by 1972. And here we are, 53 years, 52 years later, and it's still a ticket along. Money is a winner-take-all market; everybody wants to have the money that has the most liquidity. The more liquidity you have in a form of money, the more liquidity you attract. All non-dollar fiat currencies are essentially just US dollar plus country risk.
