The Principle of Non-Contradiction
In terms of motion, Aquinas is saying, come back to where we left off. It's not possible to proceed to infinity in a series of causes because there'd be no first mover. And so Aquinas concludes there must be a first in the series, which is itself uncalls. Discuss this more during the Q&A. But for now, let's wrap up the implication. We observe motion all around us. It can't be the case that there's both motion and no motion. So there must bea first mover and not an infinite series of movers. Let's wrap this up.
