Anova becomes van helsing's primary antagonist. She traps him into her boudoir just before dawn and keeps him there long enough for the light to flood in. The film also does this thing where bruno gans becomes like the next dracula. And i think we were perhaps led to believe that she might go along for the ride, yes on. Jonny's early scenes firm she seems to be prepared for that to happen. But then when she rejects him, it's quite a harsh moment.
