I am very reluctant to hand over decision making about the use of any technology to moral institutions, let's say like churches. And so I think there needs to be a diversity of approaches. If someone doesn't want a particular technology then they can have an island that rules out AI. But for the rest of us who think that AI is bringing many, many benefits, does it come with hazards? Sure. So does the ubiquitous spreading of food around the world. The internet comes with car accidents. We're creating knowledge too fast.
