Twitter announced that if you want to keep using SMS to factor authentication, you're going to have to subscribe to Twitter blue. So they're paywalling SMS to FA, which on the one hand is probably a good thing because SMS to FA is terrible. But then it's better than no to a phase, isn't it? Jim Link: Everything about this announcement is just clown shoes. It would make perfect sense to say we are sun setting SMS to a face because it's inherently insecure and you can and should do better.
