The Future of Generative AI Models

In my field there is a concerted effort to make it sound like magic. There's obfuscation that happens on purpose so that you don't see where the data is coming from, who it's being stolen from and how the workers are being exploited. It's not sentient or magic or anything like that. And there's nothing wrong with convenience but I don't want my convenience at the expense of another human being.
