Deforestation in the Amazon River

The amazon river is made up of many tributaries, and those in turn are fed by streams. Without proper sanitation and ru collection, it's easy for the waterways to become polluted. deforestation typically takes place illegally, not althorized by the environmental agency. Removal also happens on the banks and beds of the garapes which protect that body of water.
