The Importance of Picking Your Sporty Kids
Someone was speaking to me in a school and it was early on in my career. They were saying quite often those sporty children, the ones that are really into that sport, that's their only passion. And so don't deprive them of potentially the only chance they're going to get to win something because you're too worried about the way it looks. No, do pick them, because that's what it's for. Like, they want to go and compete in this thing. And that's what they're good at. So let everyone else see what excellence in something looks like and join in.
