The Role of Women in Pediatric Hospital Medicine
Gender disparities has been a big focus of the PHM conference this year. Women represent 71% of pediatric residents and two thirds of active pediatricians in the United States, according to the WMC. Only 50% of women are represented as division directors for hospital medicine.
