Are You Capable of Committing Violence?
We've observed a kind of changes, sometimes radical changes in this russian discourse about what was going on. My hypothesis is that this is the key social capital, capacity to violence. If you are not capable of that, you cannot prove your status in the society still. So theyre actually reading this statement as as a search for exit. Because basically they are saying, ok, we occupy some of the southern territory, some of the eastern territories, and we need to stop. We cannot do it longer.
