Receiving b corps certification is the result of a very long process. A company must maintain this rigorous combination of third party validation, public transparency and legal accountability. The process itself is both transparent and highly regarded by some of the most reputable and socially responsible companies across a wide variety of industries. So i don't see reason to doubt the be corp vetting process when it comes to investment management.
