What Is Polity?
Church polity is the structures and manner of governmant in the church. When we talk about office, i mean any position of authority. And so that would include a police officer. It would d your elected representatives. But we can also speak of office in a broader sense. If you're in a work place and you're a supervisor, you have office. In the home, the father is tasked with the responsibility of overseeing his household, that's office. A elders are a task with christ, o the shepherd, to lead, to teach, to rule.
