Portfolio Construction - Is DRP Really a Big Deal?
When brokerage was one percent, that was a big deal. And you used to generally get a discount. But if you've got a page scattered of different shares on a broker, not a platform, and they've all got DRP, good luck at tax time. I mean, it's so weird. People get such fierce and aggressive online talking about DRP, yes or no. We use that distribution as part of its rebalance. So in the portfolio construction world, each quarter, each month, each year when distributions are paid into the cash account, there's a quarterly rebalance and it just gets rebalances and distributed.
