The Importance of Reactive Programming

I heard about reactive programming via this JavaScript framework called Meteor. And I was just flabbergasted at what they were doing in this demo. It's a beautifully elegant mechanism that, you know, I'll probably talk about someday. But it really has these ideas have proven themselves out year after year after year. That's why I think Shiny for Python needed to exist.
