Introduction

This week on the agenda, we talk about a Czech national hero. Jan Jiska was one of the military leaders for the Hussites in the 15th century. He fought against crusading Catholic forces that were attempting to stamp out the Hussite movement. For half of his military career, he only had one eye, and for the other half, he had zero.
