The Six Rs of Meditation

When you're practicing meditation, there's actually two kinds of meditation that is just generally speaking. The question is one pointed concentration. Now what does that mean? It means that your mind is on your object to meditation and your mind is distracted. What do you do with the distraction? You let the distraction be by itself. Relax the tightness caused by that distraction. And eventually your concentration gets good enough that it suppresses hindrances from coming up. There is true personality development with what I call tranquil wisdom insight meditation, twin.
