The Power of Poetry

The poem that follows me around and pesters me is from Blake's London. We studied this poem when i was younger but over the years it has only grown more and more resonant against my will we can tell what poems mark us because we use the words of those poems like breathing. There's another poem a song called Ariel's song from William Shakespeare's Tempest one that has only gained resonance in the years following my initial exposure. When it comes to do we teach school children Shakespeare if they don't understand it  i think yes we need to but in my final year of university i did not fully believe that anymore.
