If you enjoy twitup because of the community aspect, then discord is great. It could be a very interesting alternative for those conic communities. I think it's sufficiently matured as a platform that you can realistically think about people who have native experience with it. Sometimes that work being tight, a lot of people are using it to coordinate course work.
