How Square Survived Amazon

Jim Boulden: Square got attacked by Amazon and when we were a startup, this is the most terrifying thing that a startup can have. When Amazon decides they want your market, they always win. And so what happened in Square's case was they did that and we looked for other examples of companies that had survived Amazon. He says he now tries to encourage people to basically not make the same mistake I made with my mother which was to sit there when I saw a problem and not act.
