How Long Did It Take You to Write This Book?

I started this book in my the very beginning of my second sumester at columbia. That was about 12 years ago. And then the last two years, i heavily edited, even more than i think my editors thought i would. So i got very ubsessed in the final stages, am, and i think turned into a different person,. Like it just became a complete obsession. I had to just try everything to o a aces my characters a and work through resistances that i had.
