People Are Living for Longer

Birth rates have been declining for a while, and last year they hit record lows. As the number of elderly grew, so did the realization that older age groups have diverse needs. Various governments japan have acknowledged that but efforts tended to adapt what already existed. A more radical approach was needed. Doctor hiroco aciama set up several social experiments in rural, urban locations to explore ways of keeping people living independently for longer. He says: "We want to build communities where people could live for hundred years"
