In australia, that's often what you hear people say. They're in a two income family and when she considers whether she should go back to work or not,. i often hear, what's the point? I pretty much just pay for child care fees. But we need to look at her working as a long term investment in her future income and skill set. This isn't just about the money. And it has to be mother centred and family centred, and saying, we where is your choice here? Where are the constraints of your context? And can we talk about what is best for each person in the family?"
