After Nixon takes over the court, there's been this series of rulings from the 70s through now that have really been all about helping the powerful. We had this little period where they did some good stuff, but now we're in this whole new period, six to three conservative majority and they are going crazy as you said in your intro. I practice law. You were the way that you were taught about this record, just as you said. It's almost mind-blowing when you really read into it and you dig into your book of how they're really not as supreme as we were taught that they were.
