The History of Cosmology

I think it's really fascinating to try to boil down the whole history of cosmology. At each moment, we think maybe we've understood the universe and then later that's all thrown in the trash bin. For me, I feel like I had this kind of vague idea about dark matter and not that I have like a deep like mathematical sense of it now but I have a much better picture on why we need this.
