The Germans Didn't Use a Nerve Agent

The allies looked at them and saw, probably not worth using as a weapon. Portendown themselves have said it was the one time they were caught with their pants down. There's this theory that the germans didn't use gas because of es experience of er being attacked with gas in world worl one. Yet, that may possibly have fed into why it was never used. And when it was realized just how effective nerve agents could be, there was then a general rush by all sides to develop more efficient nerve agents.
