The Challenges of Funding Pro Teams in the US
The challenges around funding pro teams is something I wanted to learn more about. There's just a limited pool of people that would match that requirement and also had the capital to back up what they were about to invest in. The number of people, the number of wealthy families that there are to buy into pro sports at high valuations is getting smaller and smaller. Overall, the pie of wealth has gotten so much larger. It costs so much money to own these teams.
