The Neurology of the Adolescent Brain

In the course of adolescence, the brain remodels. It becomes more powerful, faster, quicker. And I really think it centers right at 13 when their brains are super gawky. The emotion centers are super powered and really, you know, much more fast and powerful. So the ability to maintain perspective is just weak relative to that.
