Aristotle's Ethics of Care
Aristotlesois is the only person i've ever heard even point to that. It's really striking, because it made me realize how much our ethics doesn't talk about things likea care and serviceand didn't until feminist a traditions in 19th century. What would an ethics of care have done for our world? We don't we don't know. But i think we need to look to these kinds of alternative values. There's some interesting work being done on thenotions of maintenance and restoration as ethical values.
