How to Use the Slice Function to Extract Observations by Position
Mike: I thought I knew a lot about the slice function until I read this blog post by June. It's always important to remember that order does matter when extracting observations by position. But as June points out there is way more to slice than just supplying hard-coded row numbers to the arguments. Mike: And it makes you wonder just what other uncovered hidden gems there are in this vast role, the tidy verse and these functions that seem simple on the surface, but boy, they're not so simple in terms of what you can do with them.
