Is There a Connection Between Odium and Yelignar?

It seemed like odium, it seemd like elignar was going to play a key role in dalinar potentially becoming odium's champion. I think the next thing we see is just amaram swallowing it and then becoming all crazy demon man. So it's possible that odium either had complete control or complete co operation with yelignar.
