In the weekly market round up, i notice that the default rate for 20 22 has fallen off a cliff. You know, there's just no defaults happening at all. And it's really odd, because if you look at the all in yield that companies are now having to pay,. It's surged upwards because risk free rates have increased. On top of that, you have to plonk a widening credit spread. So any company which is rolling over its debt is having to pay much more. Why aren't they going bankrupt then? I know it's justta.
