The Role of Support in Moral Distress
Joanne and David: If you provide a little bit of support, it can really make a big difference in what people report is feeling around moral distress. They developed an acronym called EASER that stands for empathy and shared perspective or responsibility. These were really easy kinds of things that we could all do, not only for our trainees, but every time we interact with somebody else that we work with.
