Cox and Wyden were trying to provide incentives or to remove disincentives from using any technologies that would block and filter objectionable content. The purpose is part of the statute that's 230B, there are five purposes. One says has to do with a free speech and encouraging the true diversity of political viewpoints online. But another equally as important purpose is to removeDisincentives from blocking and filtering objectionable content. And the third wants to ensure that we enforce all laws against cyberstocking, cyber harassment, and other forms of online abuse.
