The educated, financially comfortable first world nonbeliever needs Jesus just as desperately as those suffering in the poorest regions of the mission field. Think about other things like the epidemic disregard for the sanctity of life, the redefining of marriage. These are the kinds of issues that we have to be prepared to address with sound and intelligent responses. It's our duty as Christ's emissaries. Our duty to expose the falsehood of the arguments and lofty opinions that have captured the minds of so many today.
