It was written in response to President Barack Obama's pledge of support for gay rights during his State of the Union address last month. "We are all part of one big family," it says. The group has been together since 2008, when they performed at New York City’s Macy’s Thanksgiving Day parade. They have also appeared on television shows including “Larry King Live” and “This Is Life with Larry King,.” as well as several other PBS stations across the country.
